Terms of Service

Effective October 13, 2026

These terms govern your use of GoHelm, operated by Collabetive Services, LLC (“we”, “us”). By signing in to GoHelm you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use GoHelm.

The service

GoHelm is a workspace over Gmail and Google Calendar, and Google Chat for Google Workspace accounts that turn it on. It reads mail, events and chats from Google accounts you connect and helps you organize them. It is early-stage software: features will change, some are visibly marked as not yet available, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. GoHelm is currently provided free of charge.

Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Chat remain the source of truth. GoHelm changes something in your Google account only when you directly ask it to, or when a rule you turned on applies to new mail. In Gmail those changes are limited to labels, read state, stars, archiving, and moving mail to Trash or Spam when you ask, are listed under Activity, and can be undone there. In Google Calendar, GoHelm records your answer to an invitation when you press Accept, Maybe or Decline, and creates, moves, edits or cancels events you organize when you do so on the Plan tab. When you open a Gmail draft in GoHelm, it saves that draft back to Gmail only when you press Save draft. GoHelm sends only messages you write and choose to send, in mail or in Google Chat, and never permanently deletes mail or Chat messages: Trash is Gmail's own, which Gmail empties after 30 days. You are responsible for what you send, as with any email client, including drafts written with AI: they can be wrong, so read them before sending. AI triage suggestions are aids to your judgment, not decisions.

Your account and connected mailboxes

  • You need a Google account to sign in, and you are responsible for keeping it secure.
  • Connect only Google accounts that you own or are authorized to access. Connecting an account you have no right to access is a breach of these terms.
  • You can disconnect a mailbox or ask us to delete your account at any time, as the Privacy Policy describes.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use GoHelm to break the law or to violate anyone else's rights;
  • try to access other users' data, or probe, disrupt or overload GoHelm or the services it relies on;
  • reverse-engineer GoHelm except where the law allows it;
  • resell or provide GoHelm to others without our written permission.

Your content

Your mail, calendar, chats and other data remain yours. You give us permission to access and process them only as needed to run GoHelm for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. Your use of Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Chat remains subject to Google's own terms, and your organization's rules for its Google Workspace.

No warranty

GoHelm is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. GoHelm's classifications, such as flagging a message as suspicious or a sender as recognized, are aids to your judgment, not guarantees. A message GoHelm does not flag may still be harmful. We do not promise that GoHelm will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Collabetive Services, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or business, arising from your use of GoHelm. Our total liability for any claim relating to GoHelm is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for GoHelm in the twelve months before the claim, or US$100.

Ending use

You may stop using GoHelm at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, or if we discontinue GoHelm, and will give notice where we reasonably can. When your account ends, we delete your data as the Privacy Policy describes.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, tell you in GoHelm before they take effect. Continuing to use GoHelm after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota.
